I found a cheap little product that works great. I think its called Zipperade. Google it, and Im sure you can find the site.
You can fix a zipper that has split open by clamping it with a pliers
get a hammer
Get a new door, or retainer latch.
Can you be more specific? I would just use WD-40 if you are having a hard time running the zipper. However, if the zipper teeth are broken or missing then you might want to take the top to a boat repair shop. They can usually stitch on a new zipper without a problem.
Most times when this happens the teeth of the zipper are worn out and you just need to replace the zipper
Almost all department stores will fix zippers, often free of charge.
Zippers are usually wavy because the clothing shrinks while the zipper fabric and the actual zipper don't. Put a rag or some thin cloth over the zipping fabric and iron it, that should fix it.
Get a replacement right/color and length and have someone sew it in for you
send it back to north face, they will replace the jacket for free! I did it.
A good seamstress should be able to fix the zipper on a sleeping bag. If you can find one in your town, he or she should have no problems stitching things up. Alternatively, you could also contact the manufacturer of the bag to check on their warranty and see if they can fix it as well. Most major name-brands will stand-by their products.
you can't
on the end that attaches to the side of the back rest there is a zipper. open the zipper, then you can tighten the bolt that holds the arm rest in place. takes about 30 mins & your done. Make sure the arm rest is where you want it as you tighten the bolt.
