We can keep some in captivity so they can survive without fear of being hunted, that is probably the best idea, because even if we make animals illegal to hunt, people will still do it. If you want to help directly, get a degree in zoology and open up a zoo and adopt chettahs.
You can join organizations that help endangered animals or specifically cheetahs, encourage friends to help cheetahs too, do a research project on them, and you help keep the environment clean. Keeping around you clean may not help the cheetah much if you don't live near them, but it can help many other things. If you're not planning on traveling to Africa, then I'd say joining organizations would be the most helpful.
The Government has put the species' name in the Red Data Book and has classified it as an endangered species. Its hunting has become illegal and a large number of wildlife sanctuaries now protect this vulnerable species.
You can protect cheetahs by raising money for them.
ok so i think this is right
wwf are trying to save them by getting people to adopt them.they are being saved also by stopping poachers
Animal Rights groups
Donate money to foundations that protect them
Cheetahs use their speed to escape from potential predators.
they kill them with a gun
To protect its baby cheetahs and it is a big part of the food chain. I asked this question because of a school project!
It depends. Poachers and farmers kill cheetahs, but some groups that are against killing the cheetahs help them. Ex: Game reserves, zoos, and tagging the cheetahs help them. Game reserves protect cheetahs from humans. Zoos let people see and observe them, also breeding them, and tagging the cheetahs helps them survive by humans being able to know more about them to know where they roam, and to observe them over time.
Cheetahs effect people to run really fast so that they can catch them.
Yes. Since Leopards and Cheetahs share the same habitat as humans in Africa and Asia. The humans protect them from things that can harm them.
gazelles by zig zaging, warthogs by hiding in holes.
They don't have predators since they are at the top of the food chain.
I...
Cheetahs were once kept by people for use in hunting.
