I am on a Mac connected to a wireless network. You either already have the built in adapter for the wireless network or you can purchase one. If you have it installed, you either have the program to use it or can download it from the internet.
Go to the apple in the upper left hand corner and press it. You may see, "About this Mac." Click that. You will see Network. That will tell you what is on your network and if you already have wireless installed.
If you do not, you will need to purchase a wireless unit. Go to Google. Try "Apple Store." They will have a phone number. They will probably sell you something or at least tell you what to purchase.
If it is installed, get out of that. Go to the apple again. Go to system preferences. You will need to enable wireless.
