How can someone eat only 300 calories a day and lose about 20 pounds but then can't lose anymore?

Eating so little a day to lose so much weight is very unhealthy and very dangerous. It is a clear sign of the dangerous eating disroder known as anorexia nervosa. Eventually, a body will hit a plateau. This happens in nearly all forms of weight loss. The Boyd becomes so accustomed to the food and exercsie habits that it eventually adapts to stop losing weight. Also, when the body is so severly starved like that (with only 300 caloires a day, about 1,500 calories less than what it should be having daily), it finds all possible ways to conserve energy and not lose weight as an instict method of survival.
