Humans have changed the environment by stripping large areas of trees and other natural plants, disrupting the cycle of water in that ecosystem and turning a temperate location into arid desert. Humans have brought animals into new areas where they take over the niches of native animals and change the food cycle, including the plants consumed by the vegetarian population. Goats strip the landscape, rather than grazing off the tops of the grasses and other plants. This can make a grassland into arid land. Humans can level hilly areas and build massive towers close to each other, causing wind to move through the city in a chaotic manner - some areas dead of an breeze and others with strong air flow that can knock a pedestrian down.
The surface of the earth has been modified in several ways:
1. Canals such as the Panama Canal is one example;
2. For a time the Netherlands added territory by using earth soil to extend their shorelines;
3. The earth is being constantly changed in its atmosphere by chemical pollutants from factories.
4. In certain areas forests have been reduced do to lumbering activities.
Umm, I think the crust.

The earths atmosphere has significantly altered over the years. The process of the earth's atmosphere was recognized and evolved 2.7 billion years ago, forming the nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere that exists today. This change enabled the formation and beginning of the ozone layer (which along with magnetic fields) block solar radiation.
All of earths resources will be destroyed and the trees will die out. Once all the trees die out, the people will not get any oxygen and we will all die.
