How can the earth be saved?

i think so if we pass the message to people its a real possibility Unfortunatly it cannot be unless somebody invents a time machine to see what will happen in the future so that we can prevent it, but at the moment who knows what will happen? x

Planting trees is a fun, great and effective way to reduce greenhouse gases. Trees absorb carbon dioxide during the process of photosynthesis. This process absorbs nearly 30 percent of the 10 billion metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions released each year through fossil fuel combustion. It is the most important heat trapping greenhouse gas.

Recycle

Recycle cans, bottles, plastic bags, and newspapers. When you recycle, you send less trash to the landfill and you help save Natural Resources, like trees, oil, and elements such as aluminum.

Buy smart

We should buy products that don't use as much energy. Save energy. Some products like certain cars and stereos are made specially to save energy. We can buy recyclable products instead of non-recyclable ones. Recycle marks are printed (three arrows that make a circle) on the package to help recognize. Recyclable products are made out of things that already have been used and it usually takes less energy to make these than to make new ones. The less

energy we use, the better.

ENERGY STAR Many things, like computers, TVs, stereos, and VCRs, have special labels on them. The label says "Energy" and has a picture of a star. Products with the ENERGY STAR® label are specially made to save energy.

Solar Energy

Solar energy can be really effective if countries worldwide use the method. It can be used to heat homes, buildings, water, to make electricity and lots more. Today, more than 200,000 houses in the United States take advantage of this.
