You didn't give us much to go on. Of course you would have to approach them to let them know you will be the surrogate mother (you could do this is two ways ... he could give his sperm and it's implanted in you, or, some couples don't mind if the man and woman sleep together because it's a business venture.) If you commit to doing this then you CAN'T back out as it would break their hearts. Do it for the right reasons ... because they can't have children and you love the couple dearly, but don't do it just for money (as so many women can do. Of course I'm not accusing you of this.) If the couple goes for your idea (most do) then it's best to see a lawyer and draw up papers. It's often acceptable that the new parents will pay for your medical bills and hospital stay. If you're doing it for all the right reasons then just sit down with them and tell them that you're willing to do this for them. Hopefully they will accept your gracious offer. People think it's easy to adopt children, but it can be quite difficult and expensive. Also check that is legal in your country. Some country's/ states do not let other people be surrogates or if they do there is not allowed to be any exchange of money between the surragate and parents to be. Also i would recommend that you only use a surragate that has finished having her family - this way it may lessen the natural attraction the surragate has for the unborn baby and also if something goes wrong and she can no-longer have children after this child it will not affect her family plans. This is a big decision for all involved so make sure every question is asked and answered. Good luck!
