Be there for her steadfastly and compassionately when she needs you.
Help her to recognize that she has been abused. Help her to decide never to be abused or to accept being abused again.
The best way to help ur friend get over n start a new life after an abusive relationship is to be there for her....as u know abuse is addictive n it really needs a lot of stregth for a person to break the cycle of abuse....wats going to keep ur friend going back to the abuser is the constant n unconditional support that she has to get frm friends n family...u have to be very sympathetic n always be there to listen to their feelings and probs even if they repeat it 10 times a day! if the abused is left on her own without any support there r more than 70% chances that she will return to her former abuser so plz be there for them! hope i helped...God Bless!
