I have this exact same SUV - Here's how to do it: You must first have the preset code that came from the factory. It is a five digit code. If you don't have it, you can call a Ford dealership and give them your VIN# then they can tell you what the code is. If you have the factory code or once you get it, you enter the code then press the 1/2 button within 5 seconds of entering the factory code. Once you press the 1/2 button then enter your own 5 digit code. You must press the numbers within 5 seconds of each other. Once you do that you're done. Then when you enter your code it unlocks the front drivers door. To unlock all the doors enter your 5 digit code and then press the 3/4 button. To lock the doors using the key pad all you have to do is press the 7/8 and 9/0 buttons at the same time. You don't need to enter your personal code to lock the doors.
Hope this helps,
Trin

Yes , XLT and Eddie Bauer are just two of the Ford trim levels
If the heater is not working in your Eddie Bauer edition Ford Expedition, your heater core is probably junk and needs to be replaced.
The Ford Expedition XLT or Eddie Bauer are two of Fords trim levels ( Eddie Bauer having more standard features than the XLT ) So , if the Ford Expeditions are the same model years , the amount of space inside is the same

Each vehicle with keyless entry has its own code
It should be on the keyless entry control module behind the fuse box (below steering column) on the firewall. It's a five digit number 1xxxx.

Ford dealer or ebay.
In a 2000 Eddie Bauer Ford Expedition, the computer module is located under the dashboard and to the left of the brake pedal. The module should be cream-colored.
