In 1996, the Q45 was converted to OBDII (today's general standard for automotive diagnostics). The model years before that will require a Nissan CONSULT, or the Nissan DataScan and cable to interface with the car and allow you to perform PB tests and monitor the vehicle's performance and possible codes. I just got off the phone with the dealer in Latham, NY. I have a 1994 Infiniti Q45(T) and the total cost for the dealer to replace the power steering pump comes to $1133. The price for the pump was $524.50 and the price for labor was $525, together with tax it comes to $1133.
