Does he frequently not answer his phone when you call? That might mean he is talking to "her".
When he does answer, is he abrupt, and needing to hang up fast? That might mean he has "her" on the other line waiting.
When his phone rings, does he not answer it? That might mean he knows it is "her" and doesn't want you upset.
When he answers his phone, does he claim it's a wrong number a lot? That might mean it's "her".
Does he like to go into another room when his phone rings, or when making a supposed business call? That might mean it's "her".
