if you have the 2.4L 4g64 engine the cylinder closest to driver side of car is 1 and the one closest to transmission/bellhousing is 4 if you look at the very top of the coil pack they are numbered. the 2 on the left are for 2 and 3 and the ones on the right are for 1 and 4. 1 and 4 fire at the same time and 2 and 3 fire at the same time. I'm not sure on the turbo version (eclipse spyder GST as I haven't had a chance to play with that engine yet)
