I didn't quite follow you. What do you mean, do you mean (1) use the same dial-up cable to connect another computer or (2) you want to use one dial-up cable to connect both computer.
1. If you want to do this, that's easy, just unplug your cable and connect with it with your new computer, then go to Control Panel->Network and internet Connections->Network Setup Wizard.
2. That will be a little complicated.
Option A: Get a router, follow the direction of the manual.

Option C: Use the newer computer to connect to the internet. Next connect the two PCs together with a "Crossover cable". Make sure it is not a "Patch Cable". Use the "Internet Connection Wizard"* On the second computer. Select when prompted to connecet to the internet throught another computer.
Setup procedures
To enable Internet Connection Sharing on a network connection, follow theses steps:
1.
Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Network Connections.
2.
Click the local area network (LAN) connection or click the dial-up networking connection that you want to share (that is, the one that connects to the Internet), and then under Network Tasks, click Change settings of this connection.
3.
On the Advanced tab, click to select the Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection check box.
4.
If this is a dial-up networking connection, and you want the connection to be automatically dialed when another computer on your network tries to connect to the Internet, click to select the Establish a dial-up connection whenever a computer on my network attempts to access the Internet
check box.
5.
If you want to permit other network users to enable or to disable the shared Internet connection, click to select the Allow other network users to control or disable the shared Internet connection check box.
6.
Under Internet Connection Sharing in Home networking connection, select the connection that connects the computer that is sharing its Internet connection to the other computers on your network.
Note that to enable Internet Connection Sharing in Windows XP, you must have administrative rights.
Important When you enable Internet Connection Sharing, the network adapter that is connected to the home network or to the small-office network receives a new static IP address of 192.168.0.1, with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0. Existing TCP/IP connections on the network may be lost and must be reestablished.
It is a system where a computer can use the phone lines to dial up to the internet
If you have to dial a number on your computer to connect to the internet and cant make or receive calls while your using the internet then you are a dial up user. And of course your speeds will be very low.
ADDITIONAL INFO! I don't know how to add it to the question, soo... I have a very old computer running windows 2000 ME and it usually connects to the internet through dial up. We got rid of dial up a long time ago and recently I bought a NETGEAR WG111T wireless adapter. I downloaded the installation files onto my working computer and transferred them to the second non-internet computer via flash drive and installed all the needed software and drivers. The adapter is connected to my router but my computer wants to use dial-up to connect to the internet. Does anyone know a way to re-work the computer so that it connects to the internet with the adapter not dial-up?
There are a few different internet service providers who offer free dial up service. Internet service providers like NetZero offer free dial up service for up to 10 hours per month. Fast Free Dial-Up is another site that offers a free dial-up internet connection.
When a dial up internet connection is initiated, the computer uses a modem to establish a connection to the an internet service provider through the telephone network. This causes the iconic dial-up sound that is similar to dialing a phone number.
Your computer may "dial on it's own" if you have either set it to automatically reconnect when the connection is terminated abruptly, or if a program that you are using is trying to connect to the internet to perform a task.
using a dial-up network or a broadband network
Connect your cellphone to the computer and make a dial-up connection to the Internet.
No. A modem is used for dial up.
A internel modem in a computer can be used for a dial-up connection service from your ISP. A external modem is used for dial-up, DSL (Digital Subscriber Line), and cable Internet. Dial-up = Phone line DSL = Phone line (generally faster and does not cut out your calls) Cable Internet = TV line
It is not recommended but you can share your internet through your computer and the xbox can use it as a gateway to the modem.
To setup dial up you would need to contact your ISP. Your ISP is your Internet Provider. Otherwise known as the one you pay for your internet connection. They will be able to guide you through the setup process.
