Your ignition switch crapped on you
The ignition switch.
Your ignition also locks your steering and at times you need to move the steering wheel a little and at the same turn your ignition key. Then you should be able to turn the key and start the engine. Hal
I would replace the lock cylinder.
It's easy man...Don't worry too much. Just try to start engine and the same time wiggle your steering wheel.. it will cool you down. Cheers Karen.S
Could be faulty ignition coils especially if engine starts when cold then stalls and will not start once warmed up.
If you have a remote starter, you can shut it off normally, remove the key from the ignition, and then proceed to start it up remotely, after which you can return the key to the ignition and turn it to the engine mode, NOT the starting mode.
Your car does not have a dipstick per se. Turn the engine off and let sit for 3 minutes. Now turn the ignition on but do not start the engine. Use the buttons on the steering wheel to navigate to the place that shows your mileage. Once there use the arrow button to get to the oil dipstick level. This is all spelled out in your owners manual.

The ignition switch is in the steering column..that's where you insert the key to start the vehicle.
Is the steering lock on? Jiggle the wheel when you turn the key.
