not a good idea to do that. Could cause major problems for your heart etc. If you need to lose weight and are otherwise healthy drink lots and lots of water (not juice or soda), eat one daily main meal of lots of veggies/fruit and some protein and complex carbs like whole grain bread. Then eat 2 daily mini-meals using nutritious meal replacement bars or meal shakes. Best thing to do is see a nutritionist.

Don't even try it. Losing more than 3 pounds per week is very dangerous . . .

To lose three pounds per week, cut out 75% of your carbohydrates (cookies, chocolate, potatos, all candy, and I mean all . Morning and evening, walk briskly for 30 to 45 minutes, swinging your arms. Do weight training . . . carry bags of potatos with your arms outstretched, do deep knee bends, do situps, do side-straddle hops . . . anything you do, do it the hard way so as to make your muscles stronger . . . strong muscles burn more fat than weak muscles.

AND the best thing to do is drink at least 90 ounces of water per day. When you get up in the morning, drink 2 full cups of water, and keep it up all day. This moves the food through your intestines faster so they do not absorb as many calories. Lots of fruit drink like Cranapple is good to drink, too.

If you drink Diet Soda, remember that each bottle or can only counts as half for water intake.
