You can't safely lose that much weight in that timeframe. Consult a doctor for a safe weight loss plan. Eat right and exercise- but you simply can't safely lose weight at that rate (more than a pound a day).

If you want to maintain your health, not to mention the weight loss, you will take it slower and as a matter of lifestyle. Undereating and too much exercise will not serve you well.

Dangerously. Seriously, though, I would not try it, no matter how desperate you are. It could be very detrimental to your health. A physician or dietary consultant can recommend several ways to gradually reduce your weight. It will take considerable effort on your part.

Sensible diet and proper exercise are the only solution to manage over-weight and obesity. One of the tenets of yoga is 'Mitahara', which means sensible diet and also that one should fill half the stomach with food, one quarter with water and the fourth quarter should be reserved for the movement of the air. The yogic asanas which are effective for managing over-weight are Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskara), Leg Rotation (Padachakrasana), Churning the Mill (Chakki Chalanasana), Rowing the Boat (Nauka Sanchalanasana), etc.
