Here are some things to try:

  • You need to eliminate refined processed carbohydrates and do regular cardio exercise.
  • Great results may not come instantly, you have to keep going and not give up. You can lose weight in one week by cutting out all refined processed carbohydrates, replace those foods with fat burning foods, eat only your main meals, and do lots of cardio exercises. Plus, drink 2 litres of fresh water each day.
  • In addition to the above dietary changes, you need to do cardio exercise as much as possible. Start walking, for example. Cardio walking is excellent for fat burning when done correctly.
  • In addition to eliminating or strictly limiting refined processed carbohydrates, you need to replace those foods with more 'fat burning' foods, and make good use of the thermic effect of these foods.
  • Cardio exercise such as brisk walking, jogging, running, etc., eat healthy, no junk food, no refined processed carbohydrates, replace them with more fat burning foods, do not over eat, and keep it light and simple.

To lose body fat you need to burn more calorie than you have consumed, exersize for atleast 60-90 minutes a day! Eat a healthy balanced diet eg. Salad, fruit, veg, wholegrains, nuts, seeds, and fiber is great as it keeps you fuller for longer, helps you pass bowel motions and takes carries fat out of the body when you do pass a bowel motion(or when you go to poo) cut at least 500-800 calories out your usual diet and exersize alot more and see the pound drop off atleast 1-2 pounds a week! hope that helped

To lose seven pounds in one week would require a calorie deficit of 24,500 calories. To burn 24,500 calories means that you would have to run continuously for 40 hours. Two pounds or less is a more reasonable goal.

Each pound is equal to 3500 calories. If you eat 2,000 calories per day you need to get enough exercise to use up that amount plus an additional 1000 calories per day (3000 total) to lose 2 pounds per week. It is best not to drop the calories that you eat too low as the body will slow down the metabolism thinking that you are starving. Doctor's suggest a minimum of 1200 to 1500 calories per day diet plus exercise.

You can only lose that much if you are retaining water in your body, and take pills to eliminate the water. The maximum safe loss per week when you are exercising is 3 pounds.
