Muscle is key to losing the fat around your butt and thighs. it is the muscle that will burn the fat for you.
The best way to do this is with walking, jogging or stair climbing. in fact any aerobic excercise as long as you do it for long enough you will lose the fat. Also try squats, lunges and burpees with no weights. Try excerise for 30 mins a day, and as the weight comes off you will be more toned.
To add, Hot Yoga and Barre method classes will burn the fat and give you long lean muscle. Muscle is good because it burns calories. Also, cutting out dairy and alcohol out of your diet helps. Alcohol slows the livers process of burning fat. I also notice that my skin looks better when I am not eating dairy or alcohol.
