you go to the town hall and talk to Pelly(or Phyllis) go to the window for the post office and select "pay mortgage". After you do that it will tell you your bell balance and if you currently have money in your pocket, punch in that number and thats how much you pay. BUT once you get to a number high enough to pay, pelly (or Phyllis) will mention how you paid it off (your character will do a little chant once you set off from the bank) and Tom Nook if you go to your current nook store will mention how you paid it off and first thing in the morning your house will be bigger and you will get to pay more money for your NEXT upgrade. (HOW FUN!!!-_-)

You go to the post office and go to the bird behind the counter she'll ask you "Welcome how can I help you?" then you'll have four options mail a letter, deposit, save a letter, or never mind. You want to go to the one that says make a deposit. Then she'll tell you how much you owe, then you deposit how much you want to give. hope this helps! =)

Go to the town hall and go to the machine on the left. Then Click PAY MORTGAGE. If you get other fruits from other towns and they arn't the same from your town then they will cost 500 bells insted of 100 bells. When you pay it all off talk to Tom Nook and he will expand your house and his store.

HERE IS ONE WAY:

1. empty your pockets somewhere

2. pick all the fruit you can find on the trees (it will grow back)

3. sell it to tom nook when your pockets are full of fruits

4. keep doing it!

HERE IS ANOTHER WAY:

1. when you first get on animal crossing when you pick your resident to play on instead of taping a person tap the phone and the tap reset clock.

2.change it to the next January 1 any year then go on any character.

3.then you will have a letter from your mom with 10,000 bells in it!

keep doing it and it will pay your morgage!

Fish for fish frequently (especially in the ocean - know where the big money fish are!), catch bugs frequently (but not too frequently - most are only worth a couple hundred bells), sell unused items sitting around your house, shake trees for money and bees (bees are worth about 4,000 bells from trees), sell shells from the beach, and junk in the junkyard to Tom Nook, and eventually the bells will add up for you to pay off each section of your mortgage.

save tons of bells, go to the post office and go on the mail section, speak to pelly, choose the option 'pay loan'. If you have the wii version I think you speak to Tom Nook.

To do this you have to pay of the mortgage for your house. Then, if you go to Tom Nook's shop he will talk to you about paying off your mortgage and you will be able to upgrade your house. This will come with a bigger mortgage. If you pay off this mortgage you will be able to upgrade again. You can repeat this cycle a few times until your house is fully upgraded. This may take a while.
