replace it
You have a bad bearing in one of the pulleys. Remove belt and spend all the pulleys by hand, they should be smooth and quiet.
my gerbil is called snuffles and she is very clever she is very quiet but if you hold her next to your ear then you can hear her doing very quiet squeaks. if i grab her a bit too hard then she does a louder squeak and you will easily hear her. i hope your gerbils are as clever as my little snuffles. i have trained her tricks:)
Typically you want to apply a small amount of brake quiet between the piston and the back of the pad and the caliper and the outside pad. With new pads the squeak is usually the pads vibrating against the rotor. Make sure you don't get any brake quiet on the rotor or wear surface of the pad, as it is essentially a weak silicone based glue.
A good tip, no matter how silly this may seem, is to put socks on over your shoes. That way shoes that are wet will not squeak, and you will have lighter sounding footsteps. Also, press lips together to keep from coughing, sneezing or laughing.
1. For a 2.4 Quad you have a plunger that bolts on which gets it's pressure from the oil pump. The tensioner just needs to be reseated no bolts required it will set next to a piston type plunger and all you need to do is manualy turn the engine 2 to 3 turns and if the plunger is good the little piston should come out and put pressure on the tensioner and tighten the chain. If it does not come out assuming you have plenty of oil in your engine then you need to replace the tensioner which is around $40.00. Tensioner has a round hole in it and slides over a pin on the inside housing and if the plunger is working it will reload the tensioner. After engine restart you may hear the chain as if it is loose but the oil pressure will balance out the needed plunger pressure aganist the timing chain and will quiet down.
Probably the idler pulley or the tensioner pulley on the serpentine belt. Carefully use a little squirt bottle and spray each one with a little water. When it gets quiet you know which one to change.
It is not a noun at all; you cannot have or be a 'quiet'. It is an adjective; you can get a 'quiet' something.

The verb of quiet is quieten. For example "to quieten something or someone".
Determine where squeak is coming from apply proper lubricant. I have heard folks applying wax to the wood to quiet things down if that is the source. This can be accomplished by rubbing a white stick candle or piece of wax paper on wood where the base and curved chair wood meet.
