When the Berlin Wall came down Germany was unified just as when the US left South Vietnam, North Vietnam took over and unified the country.
Yes they were in the 60s.
Berlin Airlift, Cuban Missile Crisis, deaths of MLK, JFK, RFK, landing on the moon, Vietnam war, fall of the Berlin Wall, 9-11.
Air war over North Vietnam. Ground war in South Vietnam; Riverine war in South Vietnam.
Yes. Vietnam was a French colony. They lost a Vietnam War and were thrown out of Vietnam before America tried to win a war in Vietnam. America also lost a Vietnam War.
The Vietnam war from 1959 to 1975.
The counter-culture was a group of people who supported anti-war demostrations, including the Vietnam war :)
Yes they were in the 60s.
Both deal with the war in Vietnam.
It doesn't relate to the cold war anymore than any other Viet War battle. Long Tan was simply Australia's first big fight in Vietnam.
Vietnam was a shooting war (a hot war). A cold war is a NON-shooting war; a cold war is a "stand-off" between two (or more) adversaries. Technically, Vietnam, being part of the cold war...communism verses the free world...the Vietnam War was a "Hot BATTLE" of the cold war.
:Highlights of the cold war: 1. Cuban Missiles Crisis-Won (communists backed down) 2. Korean War-Won (communists were stopped) 3. Berlin Airlift-Won (we flew over the wall) Lowlights of the cold war: Vietnam War-Lost (Communist North Vietnam conquered South Vietnam) U.S.S.R.
In war, Berlin has been bombed, but there was no war called the "Berlin War".
The war America is in currently is similar to the Vietnam war because there is the same tactics being used them by the opponents as there is in current wars. Tactics known as guerrilla warfare where the opponent attacks and then flees making it hard for the Americans to work out who and where the enemy is.
Q who was the victor of the Vietnam war? A I have no idea who won the Vietnam war!!!!
Berlin Airlift, Cuban Missile Crisis, deaths of MLK, JFK, RFK, landing on the moon, Vietnam war, fall of the Berlin Wall, 9-11.
Lt. Dan wanted to serve just as a veteran. He thought it was his fate to fight and die in the was, just like all the other males in his family did. it was his mission to die for his country while in Vietnam. As for Bubba, he went to war to fight and leave. He was just there to serve because he had to. It wasn't his life dream to die in the war like Lt. Dan. He had future plans to own a shrimping boat and pursue that life dream. So in conclusion, yes Lt. Dan and Bubba relate to the war in Vietnam differently.
No, the Vietnam War was in Vietnam
