You can have that portion of the leather replaced. My best advice is to take it to a Louis Vuitton Boutique, from there they will give you an estimate on how much it would be to replace the leather (providing that the bag is indeed real). From there it is sent to France to be repaired and you can expect your bag back in a few months.

How do you remove a denim stain from a white vinyl handbag?

I've used Goo Gone to remove stains from vinyl bags before. I would test it on an inconspicuous area first to make sure it doesn't harm the finish. I used it mostly to remove surface stains and dirt, so if your stain is deep into the vinyl it might not work as well.

Save Money By Taking Care of Your Leather Handbag?

Leather handbags are expensive, and the best way to save money on them is not to find the cheapest one available, but to do everything that you can to take care of and maintain the one that you ultimately choose to purchase. The great thing about the leather handbag is the fact that it seems to match any outfit or style. But in order for it to remain stylish, it has to stay in good condition. The amount of time and effort that it takes to take care of a leather handbag is not very extensive, but it is very important. Here is how to take care of your handbag. First and foremost, the handbag has to be repetitively cleaned. If food, chemicals and cleaning products, and even water and rain can ultimately cause the leather to become damaged. Most of substances that can get stuck to the handbag can typically be removed with nothing more than a damp cloth. This is best accomplished with warm water, since the energy from the warm water helps to remove the dirt or whatever other substances that could stain the handbag. This, in turn, means that you will not have to scrub to hard to get it out, which can cause the leather to become damaged if it is done too vigorously. It is important not to use too much water, however, and a leather handbag definitely should not be placed under water. If the stain is more complicated, such as with gum, oil, or grease, a damp cloth won't be enough. In the case of oil or grease, you will want to start with the damp cloth to remove the excess. You can then sprinkle some talcum powder or corn starch around the area, and let it sit on the handbag for roughly twelve hours. It can then be wiped off with a dry cloth. For gum, you can use an ice cub to harden the gum and pop it off. In addition to cleaning, you will need to store the handbag in a way that will not damage it. It should not be stored in a cold area, as this can cause the material to weaken and dry out. Obviously, it should not be stored in a place where a mess could get made, such as in the kitchen. If the handbag needs to be stored for extended periods of time it should be in a place where the temperature stays relatively constant, and their is plenty of airflow.
