In order to view pictures from a cell phone, on a computer, by means of an SD card, you will need the pictures to be in a format supported by the operating system on the computer (.jpg is the most common and commonly supported). Your computer must have an SD card reader. Insert the SD card into the reader, wait for the system to recognize the card, then (if you're using Microsoft Windows) double-click the "My Computer" icon. Then double-click the drive letter of the SD card slot. Go through your folders in the card until you find where your pictures are stored. Double-click a picture's icon, and it should show up on the screen. If prompted to do so, select an application by which to view the picture.
Photos are on the memory card, but are not displayed on the phone.
theres multiple ways. if u have a phone with a usb cable, u can just plug your phone into the computer and see it as a removable drive and browes the phones files till u find the pictures folder. if u have a memory card slot you can get a memory card and put it in your phone and transfer all ur picts to that, then if u have a card reader you can just put the card into your computer but if u dont then you need to get a reader or if u just have a few picts and have texting on your phone then you can email "text" the picts to your email address and then copy them from there. or if u have a computer and phone with bluetooth you can bluetooth them
If it only saved the shortcuts than there is no possible way to get your pictures back without the origanal memory card. Just in case the pictures did copy to your computer use the search pictures option and search your entire hard drive and see if they pop up.
If you see pictures, then your computer screen is turned on.
There could be several reasons why you can't see the pictures on the microSD card. First, the lg260 only recognizes the older microSD cards up to 4GB (it is hard to find these larger than 2GB). It will not recognize the newer microSDHC (high capacity) cards that are 4GB, 8GB, 16GB or larger. Second, you need to format the microSD card using the lg260 phone or it will not create the correct directories so your phone knows where the pictures reside. To format the card, do the following: Menu -> Settings -> Memory -> Card Memory and format should be one of the options. If you copy pictures via Bluetooth to the phone they should end up in the right directory. However, if you transfer the pictures using a card reader/writer attached to your computer, you will need to make sure you copy them to the correct directory on the card. Or lastly, maybe the card is bad. Anyway, good luck!
Some cameras require that you save the picture to the card. If you don't save them the picture can be seen in the camera or even if the camera is plugged in to the computer.
It can be because of your card corrupted or some problem with your USB card.

There are a couple of ways to know whether your phone uses a SIM card. 1. If you know who the service provider is for your phone, and it happens to be either AT&T, or T-Mobiles, then your phone does have a SIM card. 2. You could open the back of your phone and look carefully to see if you see a SIM card. If you do not see a SIM card, then gently remove the battery from it's compartment and look under the battery. If you see a SIM card, then your phone does use a SIM card.
