How can you send a text message without your number showing up?

If you don't want YOUR name showing up on the other persons phone,then the person who receives the text should add your name to your phone number.

If you don't want the number to show up on your phone,go to the setting or directory and label your number with a name!

On their phone, they can set their callback number to yours. In that case, if you receive a text from them, it will still have their name and/or number as the sender, but the callback number will be yours, so if someone were to receive that text, they would also have your number. My sister did this on her phone, setting the callback number to the "Reject Hotline" number. As you may notice, she has a twisted sense of humor.

If this is a matter of someone sending out texts, posing as you, they would have to either change their name to yours in the other person's phone or they would have to change their name in that other person's phone to your phone number (so the "name" is actually a number). In both cases, if they sent a text from their phone, it would show up on the other person's as either your name or your number. But there is no way your name can show up without the original sender changing their own contact name on someone else's phone first.
