OK this happened to me so download malwarebytes its a ant-virus software and do a full scan but be careful if you use fire fox or mozzila it will delete it and you wont be able to go on the internet again but its ok if you use internet explorer you can prevent it i think its on protection i dont know the rest but do a full scan it may take a while 2 hours for me and delete all the viruses it had 20 for me you should be good to go
look at the "preferences" page that is linked next to the search box. You can choose your preferred languages there.
Install google chrome Edit: Google chrome is not all that.. and btw google thinks im in japan too. Its some sort of regional setting. If I wanted to change my browser I would have. I need a real answer, not some bias BS.

You cannot stop this Trojan, the Only way is to go to settings, (if you are on Google Chrome) Scroll down to Search, when it says: trovi. Click on it then scroll down to google.

There is no need for a browser if there is no redirection. Browsers are made for redirection on other pages.
There is a web browser called Firefox. It is working on Mac and should work on Windows. The Mac version at least also has a tracking alert program that works in the background. There is a feature that erases google history. It should be at the bottom of the list that comes down when you type in a word. It says "clear history".
