How can you stop lagging on Runescape?

Well, there are some types of things that effect it, and some things you can avoid to do:

first of all, make sure you're on low detail, that way it will most likely run faster. Second, avoid clicking continuously and fast, that will only slow it down more. And Thrid, you can maybe try to restart your computer or delete a few installed programs.

You can try these common solutions :

- Getting out of channel one and/or the changing channel.

- Get out of a very populated area.

- Close any programs you are not using. (MSN, AIM, iTunes, any kind of internet Browser and Etc.)

- Restart your PC.

Sometimes, laptops overheat and will cause you to lag on MapleStory. Shut down your laptop for at least 30 minutes and try playing again.

- Press CTRL + Alt + Del (or Start > Run... > type in 'taskmgr') and you will see the Task Manager.

Click the "Processes" tab and look for any programs that are hidden that might lag you.

Then select it and click "End Process".

- Restart MapleStory. (This means exiting the game and load it up again.)

- Relog into MapleStory. (Quit Game > enter info again > play game)
