You ned to put caulking around the top joint of the heater AC box where it mounts to the fire wall.
Located on the fuel inlet line on the carb.
It is in the inlet to the carburator. It will require a 1 inch and a 5/8 inch wrench.
Because there are a leaking vacum line or loose hose from the inlet manifool to the brake Boster hose. Check for leaking air or loose clamps to the hose
If it runs continually, as you say, then it can only be the inlet water pipe or fitting, leaking.
the inlet manifold could Be leaking so check the gaskets or the injector seals
sounds like it is leaking from either the heater core or the water pump or just the inlet or outlet hose that runs into the heater core.
Engine hard to start, rough idle, fouled plugs, fuel in oil, poor gas mileage
The inlet manifold is leaking air, weakening the mixture, OR the engine timing/sparkplug electrode gap is outside specified limits.

Sounds like it is pulling air. the inlet pie must be leaking. You will have to excavate and look for damp or wet areas. Repair or replace the pipe.
