You can't. The definition of a purebred dog is that his parents are known, and their parents are known and so on all the way back to when the breed was first defined. If you haven't got that you're SOL regardless of how nice your dog is and looks.
You never know - could be golden/yellow, chocolate, or even black. These are two different dog breeds.
Usually if dogs are mixed they have a white tip on their tail or white on their paws. A purebred lab will not have these. A purebred is all one color. You can look online for the exact specifications of the breed so that you can find other inconsistencies.
A purebred Burmilla have a shaded silver and golden coat.
The Golden Labrador is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Golden Retriever and the LabradorRetriever. My Golden Retriever (female) had pups for my Black Lab (male) and all pups were solid black. They call the cross Golden Labs but mine are more like Black retrievers. They do have long hair. The actual length depends on if they're half lab half golden, or if it's quarter golden, then it wont be as fuzzy.
No, the purebred American Bobtail doesn't have a shaded golden coat.
Yes, a purebred Scottish Fold can have a shaded golden coat.
Yes, the purebred American Curl can have a shaded golden coat.
MOST LIKELY, your golden retriever is NOT a purebred golden retriever, then. because, all golden retrievers (100% purebred golden-retriever, with no other breed in them) have webbed feet, they are instinctively and historically-speaking SWIMMERS and hunters... SO, if you want, you can check with the person or organization from whom you obtained the dog, and inquire into the background of the dog (ie. purebred golden retriever? are there other breeds mixed in with golden retriever in my dog?, etc)
No, there in no golden retriever. Only Lab Retriever
Well the crossed breed lab has the qualities of the lab and of the other dog breed the purebred lab has only the qualities of a lab. Some say that crossbreed dogs are smarter since they have two or more breeds in them. I would have to agree I own two lab mixes and they are smart dogs.
Labrador puppy's are usually more white.
Depends. I bought my purebred Irish Setter for 1,000. It seems like a lot but there are dogs that go for a lot more. You should look at your local shelters for one
