It is pretty hard to tell, but there is a look in there eye when they say it. When they don't mean it, they usually give you a strange smile. If they say it without feeling, it usually means that its not from the heart, but if he is close and says it gentle.... that's usually real. ^.^

I was once told by someone that they could tell that I loved them by the way I laughed, smiled and looked at them, but I don't really think there is anyway you can possibly tell if someone really loves you. I trusted the guy who told me he loved me, but he ended up breaking my heart.
