it is almost simple just look in you car's mannual and check what the air presure should be in your compressor,and if its not like its supose to be then just ask a mechanic for help

My car is going through the same issue with the A/C. You CAN replace the compressor clutch without replacing the compressor, but the caveat is that you can't tell if the compressor is any good without a clutch. So basically you are gambling that the compressor will still be good by only replacing the clutch. Hope this helps!

If they are gone then there will at void on the steering wheel center and if so equipped the dash on the passenger side will be missing a good part of it. It will be completely obvious. Does this help.
