How can you tell which relay is for fuel pump if they look the same?

I have been under the dash of my 1989 Ford Probe more times than i can count, i am looking for the fuel pump relay, i have pulled out every relay under the dash but i am not sure which one if the fuel pump relay?? Is there a complete picture of the unit itself online i can get so i know exactly what the hell it looks like?? I hope you can answer my question soon, if you can call me, my number is 262-292-9345 but i know this is a online forum. Try to answer me soon?? Thanks joe

The main relay and the fuel pump relay are the same. Take the fuel pump relay and swap it with the main relay and see if that will help you....

A fuel pump relay is just that,a relay that runs the electric fuel pump on your vehicle. PCM stands for powertrain contol module,it is the center for contoling the proper operation of fuel delivery,engine timing etc. The fuel pump relay and pcm relay are not the same.

If you replaced the fuel pump is more like your fuel pump RELAY is bad. QUESTION. did you replaced the 2 filters on you gas line?? maybe you have a plugged filter. hope this help you some.

there is a fuel pump relay in the fuse box next to battery labeled fuel pump relay on l id of fuse box.I have a 95 it should be same on 93 otherwise look in chiltons or haynes book. Chrysler does not use inertia switches. it is not a switch it is a black fuse that is fuel pump relay
