Buy an inverter from any auto parts store or a large store like Wal-Mart. This converts your 12 volt DC power to 110 volt AC power - but this sort of power usage can drain your battery fast, use with caution so that don't end up unable to start your car again.
If you are asking about powering your household items with car batteries as one would when using them to store electricity generated by solar panels or a wind generator then the following applies. Your household appliances run on AC current but car batteries can only supply DC current. There are two options in this situation. The first is to get household appliances that all run on DC. This is possible by purchasing appliances intended for use in RVs. The second option is to purchase a power invertor ( sometims called "power convertors" ) to convert the DC power from your car battery bank to AC.
I have no idea what a normal household battery is. Generally you would have to match the current and voltage of the car battery and then you have the issue of how long the battery can sustain the current, or ampere hours.
All of them.
kettles generally run on alternating current (AC) as do most household appliances. although the heating element can run on either alternating or direct current (ac or dc) as long as the voltage is the same. for example if you were to plug your kettle into your car battery it wouldn't do very much if anything. however if you were to wire ten car batteries in series ( thus creating 120 volts dc) the kettle would heat up as it normally would.
To convert DC (battery) to AC to run household appliances you need an "inverter". Because they are usually hooked up to a car battery (12V) they can't provide too much power. Usually enough to run lights, a small refrigerator, TV or laptop computer OR similar low power equipment.
If you mean if a regular household hot glue gun can be run off a car battery, then - no. the voltage is too low for it to heat up enough to activate the glue properly.
no it just heats the water and if you want it can heat the radiators !
Yes - you can run a 1200 watt motor on a car battery - until the energy of the battery is exhausted.
gas or a battery charged car makes a car run.
-- Answer -- The battery in a car runs ALL the electrical systems in that car. The alternator only charges the battery. If you run a car without the battery in place you will ruin the alternator. Phil
I'm guessing what your asking is why do your car appliances work even though the motor isn't running? The answer to that would be when you put your key in and turn it once, you just turn on the battery. Yes you can run your appliances on just the batter, but it is a very bad idea if you intend to run those appliances for a long period of time. Your better off running the motor and wasting gas than having your battery die out, and then you're stuck. Hope this helps.
The car light? YES! Leaving your car light on WILL make your battery run out. Things like leaving your car door open if the light is on because it is open will cause the lgiht to Mae your car battery run out. There is a big difference between shorted out a car battery and running the battery down. Lighting in itself won't short a battery out but will run it down.
