You didn't say what type of car you are having trouble with so I'll have to give you a general answer. Some cars use a flasher unit for flashers and a different one for blinkers. others use a module for both. Since it is rare for two flasher units to go out at the same time I suspect you have a module problem. You can usually obtain one at your nearest salvage yard for a lot less money than the parts store or dealer and the guys at a salvage yard are much more likely to answer any questions you may have about how to change it or where it is located.
you need to replace blinker can in your vehicle. the flashers and blinkers have separate flasher cans which is why your flashers still work but not your blinkers
I got it. It was the relay switch.
I believe the flashers are on a separate fuse than the blinkers, that is where I would first start to look, is the fuse box
this car may have separate flashers for the turn signals and the emergency flashers
There are two different flashers on vehicles. 1 for the turn signals, 1 for the hazard flashers.
Sounds like switch, and yes with a puller.
bad fuse or there is a short in 1 of the wires under your dash
I think there are two different flashers one for blinkers and one for the flashers.
Possibly a defective Turn Signal Relay. Your four way flasher switch is probably bad. Your four ways will still work but not your blinkers.
try changing the flasher relay. Don't forget to check the fuses also.
u have two flashers on your car... one for blinkers and one for flashers.
Check the fuses aren't burnt first. Then remove lense and check bulb filaments if fine. Try your emergency flashers to see if they blink, if not THEN replace the flasher unit at the fuse box...easy to replace. Hope this helps.
