Travel less by fuel guzzling transport (aeroplanes, single occupant vehicles), turn down the central heating, switch off any unnecessary lighting in the home, and don't have TVs left on standby.

Because we would need less fuel. Less Fuel = Less money for Oil companies
Basically the smaller the engine the less fuel it will use.
no hybrids use the same amount of fuel as other cars but u can also use electriceity
Many ways. Electricity is produced by fuel, so if you use less electricity, you save fuel. 1. Drive less by car pooling, walking, riding bike, riding a bus or train (buses and trains consume fuel, but one additional passenger does not add to the fuel consumption) 2. Use less air conditioning or heat. Fans consume much less energy than air conditioners. 3. Use the dryer less or not at all. 4. Buy a fuel efficient car. 5. Use florescent or energy saving light bulbs 6. Turn off TV's, computer, and monitor when not in use. 7. Turn off lights when leaving the house.
Improve the fuel is the only way I know. -Neo

The smaller the engine the less fuel it will use. But then again an engine too small for the application can use more fuel than a larger engine that is appropriate for the application.
