the stamp act is a tax on paper and Paul revere and other colonists rebelled against it because they thought the king had no right to tax with out representation.
The Boston Massacre was a symbol for the Colonists to rebel, but, the British were shooting only to defend themselves. There was also the Boston Tea Party, in which Colonists (dressed as Native Americans) threw tea into Boston harbor, to protest the tea tax.
Taxation without representation was the major grievance the colonists had against England (not yet called 'Great Britain'). The tax on tea was especially annoying. Colonists, having been British themselves, liked drinking their tea! The Boston Tea was a revolt against additional taxes imposed on tea. But leveling other taxes were endless, such as the Stamp Tax.
The colonists dressed up as Indians and threw british tea into the Boston Harbor and that act is now known as the Boston Tea Party
It showed that the colonists strongly protested the tea tax.
they dumped alot of British tea into the Boston harbor
The colonists acted in a very rude manner, but you can't blame them, the tax was high! The colonists also threw out pounds and pounds of tea into the ocean, so they wouldn't be taxed on it. How they acted is what today we call the Boston Tea Party.
