∙ 14y agoWilliam Penn, when he founded Pennsylvania, was afraid that his colony wouldn't have a seacoast. So he was permitted a grant for the territory of Delaware. But soon the people of that area grew discontent wit the Pennsylvanian legislature ruling over them and demanded that they break apart. Two men named Mason and Dixon were the surveyors for the boundary line.
