It helped him very much. The Great Depression is what made things even worse on the German people, so Hitler took the opportunity to tell people of how he would help them if he came into power. Example is that he offered more money for the farmers crop so they would earn more money. As soon as the German farmers heard this they quickly voted for the National Socialist German Workers Party (Nazi Party). He told the people how he would destroy the Treaty of Versaille and this also made people vote for him and this is how he came to power.
The Weimar Republic's problems and faults helped Hitler into power because his idea's became which seemed extreme years ago were NOW needed.
Hitler promised a better economy and he said he would help all the people in Germany just as FDR said he would fix the depression.

Provisions of the Treaty of Versailles
Hitler
Hitler defied the conditions of the Treaty of Versailles because he believed it was unjust and humiliating for Germany. He saw the restrictions placed on Germany, such as military disarmament and territorial loss, as hindrances to the country's greatness. Hitler sought to undo the treaty and regain German power and territory, which ultimately led to the outbreak of World War II.

Provisions of the Treaty of Versailles
Hitler held on to the Treaty of Versailles and used it to convince the rest of Germany that the Allied Powers were to blame. He basically said that Germany should take revenge on Britain for the damages Britain did to them.
Probably because Hitler rose to power because of the unjust nature of the Treaty of Versailles.
The Treaty of Versailles did not 'let the holocaust happen'. You are making too many leaps. Even when Hitler came to power it was not obvious that there would be a holocaust.

The Treaty of Versailles did NOT bring peace to Europeafter 1919 (although it might be claimed that its terms were never carried out). It certainly helped the rise of Adolf Hitler to power in Germany, and many historians believe that it was one of the crucial causes of World War II.
Hitler's endless greed for power and the treaty Versailles.
The Treaty of Versailles is basically charging the Germans 30 billion dollars and other turmoils. The Germans were looking for a new leader that would help them get back on track and thats why Adolf Hitler came into power.
