Not as much as you would think. Gandhi was influenced primarily by Hinduism, Christianity and Jainism. As a devout theist, Gandhi did not think much of Buddhism, at least not until his later years.

∙ 12y agoGandhi was influenced greatly by the bhagvat geeta the holy text of hindus and mankind. It taught him ahimsa (non violence) amongst other things too.
