The king of that country, Medea's father, said Jason could have the fleece if tied to fire-breathing oxen to a yoke and used them to plow a field. He had to plant the dragon teeth in the soil, and as soon as the teeth were planted, a crop of armed men would spring up and turn upon the planter of the tooth. Medea gave him charms that allowed him to not be burnt by the oxen and made the armed men turn on each other.
