While the company is still headquartered their, the refinery has long since been closed. The band, Sugarland, adopted the name from this city because the name had a "sweet" sound to it. Catchy and interesting...just like this city that is now booming and one of the fasted growing cities in America. It has many master-planned communities and holds the title of the most fit city for several years running. Forget the Splenda and the Pink Stuff - and just get some sugar!
