WWll was started by Germany invading Poland
World war two began becuase the nazi leader Hitler didnt like the way the treay of versailles (an agreement on how germany should be punished from World War 1) was treating germany. So he wanted to make Germany powerful like it used to be by gaining more and more power everyday and bringing the german peoples morale up again. His first moves were risky taking back parts of germany that were taken away in the treaty like the Rhineland. When he invaded Poland allied countries like Great Britain and France decided that they would help poland and so the conflict began.

very good question indeed. it all started with the invasion of Poland. Poland, not having a sufficient enough military to challenge the Nazis surrendered and Poland was therefore invaded. the US joined the war on December 7, 1941. this was caused with the air raid of pearl harbor and battleship row. with the US outraged they took action and declared war with the Japanese. allied with the Japanese were the Nazis who the US declared war with 3 days later

There was a reason for the start of the war. Germany's economy was doing horrible after World War II and once Adolf Hitler gained power over the German army and the nation he was determined to expand a German Empire and help put Germany back together. I think we all know what is going to happen next if a country wants to expand its Empire: WAR. So tho expand, Hitler ordered troops to annex Poland, so the army marched through. England and France did warn Germany to back off but Germany did not do so, so then the two countries took action along with other countries. So then begins the story of World War II.
