The Bay of Pigs failure was intended to remove Fidel Castro from power due to him being too friendly with the Soviet Union. Therefore, it is logical to suggest that Castro would have encouraged and allowed Soviet missile bases to be constructed in Cuba anyway. However, the Bay of Pigs failure probably helped speed up the process. It was clear that the USA would use violence to replace Castro so, in order to protect his regime and the Cuban Communists, Castro needed to turn to Cuba's new and powerful ally, the USSR. The USSR had always been anxious to threaten the Americans in the same way that they themselves were being threatened by American missiles located in Turkey. The Soviets were already searching for ways to get nuclear missiles into North America and Fidel Castro gave them the perfect opportunity.

You can consider the obvious, that it failed to remove Fidel Castro and the Cuban Communist Party, therefore allowing the Soviet Union to use it as a giant missile silo.

It depends which Cuban crisis you are talking about. The United States has invaded Cuba twice. The first time was from sinking a military ship. Maybe you have heard of the Rough Riders? They were a volunteer group that was lead by Teddy Roosevelt (before he was president) that was part of the first invasion. The other invasion was during the Cold War. The Invasion was called the Bay of Pigs. Cuba was allied with Russia and threatening the United States with Nuclear weapons.

How did the Cuban missile crisis lead to increased communication between the us and soviet union?

There had to be a hot line between us so we would be alerted if, at any point, war was announced. We would be called into the war for sure so we had to know when it would happen.
