Red China supplied MIG-19 (J-6 versions) jet fighters to the North Vietnamese Air Force; as well as trained many of their pilots. In addition, nearly every AK-47, SKS, or K-54 semiautomatic pistol, or hand-grenade was CHICOM (Chinese Communist). If Red China helped the US get out of Vietnam, then it was simply President Nixon's (Known as "Tricky Dick" to the American people back then) artfull negotiations of obtaining their promise not to enter the war (as they did in the Korean War) when Nixon escalated the B-52 bombing of North Vietnam...for his plan of withdrawing from the war.
