Jefferson and Jackson both had some democractic ideals which were liberal compared to any of their successors had. However, compared to the future, they would soon be looked upon as conservative, especially where they did not abolish slavery and only white men could vote. As history goes on, we see that more and more radical parties show up as the more conservative ones scatter.

What did the early government of the US have in common with ancient governments?

Nothing. We are talking about different historical periods, different societies and different institutions. In the ancient days there were kings and emperors, which the US do not have. When there was democracy, it was different. It was direct democracy, whereas the US and other modern democracies use indirect democracy. Direct democracy means that instead of electing representatives to vote on laws, people voted on bills themselves (directly) by gathering in popular assemblies to vote.

A main difference between the ancient Greek and Roman governments was that in Rome all men could vote while in Greece only the wealthy men had this privilege True or False?

It depends. Greece was not a unified state. It had two kingdoms and many independent city states. Their constitutional arrangements varied and these arrangements could change over time. In most states vote was restricted to the aristocracy of the wealthy more in general. However, Greece was the birthplace of the concept of democracy. The most famous case of Greek democracy was Athenian democracy (c. 508 BC to 332 BC). the cities of Corinth. Megara and Syracuse also had democratic periods. In these democratic regimes all male free citizens could vote.

Did the U.S.S.R. survive as a socialist country after the revolution?

Russia has had periods of socialism, the term "U.S.S.R." defines a period when the government in Russia had a "Socialist" administration, and a Democracy as its form of government. NOTE: The term "Democracy" and "Communist" are from the same era as the term "U.S.S.R." c.1920-1930, at this time both of those terms meant the same thing, although the term Democracy has changed to suit an American viewpoint in current times.
