The Muslims Believe that the holy quran, that is the revelation sent by the Creator called Allah will guide mankind until the the last day. There is scientific explanation of the creation of the universe which is synonymous to the so-called big bang that started it all. The noble Quran gives the answer.
Take this Verse as an example taken from the holy book: "Do they (the unbelievers) not see? The heavens and the earth were joined together as one unit, before We clove them asunder" reference Chapter 21 Verse 30.
Following this big explosion, more verses describe the creation of the earth & the constellations in the sky. Allah says in the quran "He turned to the sky, and it had been (as) smoke. He said to it and to the earth: 'Come together, willingly or unwillingly.' They said: 'We come (together) in willing obedience'" reference Chapter 41 Verse 11.
Thus the elements and what was to become the planets and stars began to cool, come together, and form into shape, following the natural laws that Allah established in the universe. This is how this great design came into being by the greatest of All, the Almighty Allah.
FACT: Quran is the only religious book on the faith of the earth that is free from error, whether it be scientific or grammar or historical. That's why we, the Muslim call it the book of signs, not the book of science so that people may ponder & realise that this grand design, called the universe has a designer.
