Rotary engine are very alien compared to piston engines, any experience you have with building piston engines will pretty much be next to no help with a rotary, the only way to do it is to be taught.
but on the upside in side a rotary engine there are only 3 moving parts, eccentric shat and 2 rotors so a extremely simply to assemble.
there are videos that you can buy and a ton of info on the internet about rebuiding rotary engines. just do a Google search.
