On a 2008, fuse 13 (10 amp) located inside the fuse box in the engine bay controls your DRL. Removing it should disable your lights.
Typically one cannot disable a drl on the 2003 Honda Accord because it is a required safety feature. To disable the drl you would have to take it to any Honda service center and have them disable the drl for you. They would have to disconnect the required attachments to successfully disable the drl without compromising the rest of the mechanisms.
take the relay out
I found this web site on DRL, check it out. http://www.lightsout.org/disable.html
you don't, why would you want to? It is much safer to drive with lights on at all times. that is why they design them like that!
Under the dash on the drivers side towards the center of the car is a black box. This box is your DRL box, along with your door dinger and various other functions. Find out whitch pin/wire is for the DRL's and just cut it then tape it up.
The simplest way to do it would be to cut the DRL wires to the headlamp assemblies. The more complex way would be to locate and remove the DRL circuit board under the dash.
push the overide swithch 2 times
Simple: Remove fuse #15. It is labeled DRL/FOG. If you have fog lights you will lose those too.
The fuse to disable the DRL system is located in the passenger side fuse box near the glove box.
Are you referring to the Daytime Running Lights (DRL)??? IF you wish to disable them - FIRST MAKE SURE IT IS LEGAL TO DO SO WHERE YOU LIVE - and then you can extinguish them by locating the fuse in the underdash fuse panel that controls the DRL and simply remove it.
If you lift your ebrake handle one notch, it will not engage the brake, but it will turn off your drl's. Or you could always pull the fuse.. :)
