As I've never been in this situation, I can't tell you from experience, but if I was, I would probably just try to keep it from the kids that it's his mistress, I would just tell them that she's a random girl that he began dating. If they already know, I would just try to ignore the matter as well as I could...although I guess that's pretty hard. I don't know what else I would do, though. Hope I helped!
