In 1934. On October 4, Prince Henry the Duke of Gloucester was brought to Fremantle, Western Australia, by HMS Sussex. HMS Sussex also was in Australia as part of the Australia Squadron from 1934 to 1936.

I don't know the answer to this question, but I have a photo of my grandfather, taken, I think, during the 1st World War (I know he was in the Royal Navy then), and in the photo he's wearing a cap with 'HMS Victory' on. My mother thinks it was a training ship, rather than an actual battleship. Would appreciate any info that might be out there.
