How do I know if I tricked myself into liking a guy cause I think he likes me or if I actually like him?

I think we all come to that stage when we are indecisive of whether we and our crush have a mutual feeling of love. But what i think you should be thinking about is , "Are you(am i) ready to date?" I know when a lot of us see a cute couple down a street, hallway at school, or wherever it may be; we somehow wish for that same feeling, to be loved by someone and to be cared about by a guy who is Mr.Perfect. Ask yourself, "Am i ready to date?", because I don't think most of us are. In my opinion, it's OK to wait until you've grown up. I'm not saying until forever, but what i am saying is wait until you are a mature adult. Then and only then, i promise you that you will be most happy. I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses and on our website we have an article about dating and knowing are you to date. It says, Dating should have an honorable purpose-to help a young man and woman determine if they want to get married to each other. It also talks about another witnesses point of view, she says "Many young ones who date break up with each other a week or two later," says a girl named Heather. "They come to view relationships as transitory-which in a sense prepares them for divorce rather than for marriage." It's natural to have these feelings, i have them too but I do well to follow bible principles; you know what, i'm not missing out, i'm only preparing for the future.
